Presbyterians for Middle East Peace wants to thank you for your support as we fought against the movement to call Israel an apartheid state. While we were not successful in defeating Overture INT 02, our voices were heard. The fight will go on, and our Jewish friends and neighbors need our voices to remain strong!
PFMEP is not only concerned about how the PCUSA is responding to the conflict in Israel/Palestine or how we treat our Jewish brothers and sisters, but also efforts by the denomination to stifle any kind of dissent. Our tradition has always cherished discourse, even when it is messy. We will continue to call out efforts to suffocate this tradition.

In the fall we will begin our efforts to highlight groups and organizations that are doing the wonderful work of reconciliation that is needed if we are going to achieve peace in Israel/Palestine.
